In recent years, the process, technology, and equipment standards of my country's galvanized steel pipe industry have continuously improved; key technologies adopted by domestic manufacturers include pickling corrosion inhibition, fully automated hot-dip galvanizing, and solid-state high-frequency welding.
Trends in the development of hot-dip galvanized sheet production technology include the shift toward higher production capacities and greater line specialization, the adoption of tower-type furnaces, improvements to galvanizing equipment, and the development of zinc alloy coatings, zero-spangle sheets, and galvanized sheets made from ultra-deep-drawing and high-strength steels. Equipment upgrades focus on components such as air knives, sink rolls, stabilizing rolls, auxiliary equipment, zinc pots, and zinc-feeding systems; air knife manufacturers are enhancing their products to enable automatic tracking of the steel strip, while channel-type ceramic zinc pots are increasingly being adopted.
