Composition And Workflow Of The Galvanizing Line

The galvanizing line comprises three main modules: pre-treatment, in-line equipment, and auxiliary equipment. The pre-treatment section includes tanks for degreasing, cleaning, pickling, storage, and fluxing. The in-line equipment forms a continuous production line extending from loading to inspection; it includes systems for loading, feeding and alignment, the galvanizing machine, the zinc pot, magnetic roller conveyors, external and internal air wiping, air cooling/inspection, a drying furnace, and the galvanizing furnace. Auxiliary equipment-such as systems for roll marking, threading, bundling, and associated support racks-is arranged separately.

Steel coils are placed by crane onto the entry saddle, and a coil car loads the coil onto the line's uncoiler (which is equipped with a coil sleeve recovery device). After uncoiling, the strip passes through an entry shear to remove the substandard leading end; pinch rolls then feed the strip to the welder, where it is joined to the tail of the preceding coil. The welded strip passes through an entry looper to the cleaning section, where it undergoes alkaline cleaning, electrolytic cleaning, rinsing, and drying before entering the annealing furnace section. Within the furnace, the strip undergoes preheating, heating, soaking, cooling, and holding processes; it then passes through the furnace nose into the zinc pot for galvanizing, with the coating thickness regulated by an air-knife control system.
