Automated and Intelligent Design
The automated galvanizing line utilizes conveyor belts for material transport and buffering, along with gantry systems for automatic loading and unloading. A dual-station setup ensures high galvanizing efficiency and optimized cycle times; the unloading section features a turnover table and a centrifuge to remove excess molten zinc. The unit is equipped with multiple robots-including bundle-breaking robots at the entry, dross-skimming robots at the zinc pot, and labeling robots at the exit-effectively reducing the required workforce and lowering the physical labor intensity for on-site operators.
Key Subsystems and Layout Optimization
The factory layout requires the rational integration of stages such as pre-treatment, the galvanizing furnace, the galvanizing machine, the withdrawal mechanism, the drying system, the waste heat recovery system, water cooling and passivation, inspection stands, inkjet marking, and automatic packaging. Strip centering systems are distributed across the uncoiling/recoiling, pickling/galvanizing, and drying/cooling sections to ensure precise strip positioning and prevent coating unevenness. Zinc pot temperatures (e.g., in induction zinc pots) are controlled based on product specifications. Large vertical accumulator towers (at entry, intermediate, and exit positions) with bottom-roll drives are employed to dynamically compensate for tension and ensure stable strip movement. The cleaning section utilizes advanced technologies-such as high-efficiency magnetic filters, ultrasonic cleaning, and vacuum wringer rolls-and leverages waste heat from the annealing furnace for drying, embodying an energy-efficient design.
