Technical Advantages Of Hot-dip Galvanized Low Carbon Steel Wire Equipment

The hot-dip galvanizing equipment for low-carbon steel wire utilizes a reduction-based hot-dip galvanizing process. This method eliminates the hydrochloric acid cleaning and fluxing steps, thereby reducing the volume and cost of wastewater and waste acid treatment; it also improves the working environment by eliminating exposure to acid fumes. A recirculating cleaning system is employed for wire pretreatment, further minimizing waste liquid discharge.

Since the heat-treated wire does not require cooling or cleaning before entering the galvanizing bath-entering instead at a temperature of 450°C–500°C-the time required to heat the wire within the bath is reduced. The galvanizing bath is shorter than that used in flux-based processes, allowing for the use of a metal pot and lowering equipment investment costs. The reduced overall length of the production line leads to lower material consumption and decreased production costs.

Because the wire retains heat during the galvanizing process, it reacts rapidly with the molten zinc, which exhibits excellent fluidity; this results in a uniform zinc coating with a bright, lustrous finish. Production efficiency is doubled compared to the flux-based method, while the wire's physical and chemical properties and surface quality remain consistently stable.
