Introduction To Hot-Dip Galvanized Low-Carbon Steel Wire Equipment

The hot-dip galvanizing equipment for low-carbon steel wire is manufactured by Tianjin Shuoyan Surface Treatment Technology Co., Ltd. and utilizes the flux process. The flux process evolved from a patent filed in Britain in 1837 by Crawford, which specified the use of ammonium chloride as a flux. In contrast, the reduction method employs gas-based reduction for pretreatment, wherein the steel wire is cooled from 780°C to a range of 450°C–500°C before entering the zinc pot.

This equipment is characterized by environmental friendliness (absence of acid pollution), energy-efficient integrated production, low zinc consumption, and high product quality. The primary process flow comprises spool pay-off, electrolytic alkaline cleaning, reduction heat treatment, hot-dip galvanizing, and inverted take-up; the specific steps are wire pay-off, electrolytic degreasing, hot water rinsing, reduction annealing, controlled cooling, hot-dip galvanizing, cooling, and coiling.
