Regarding green and low-carbon development, the galvanizing production line employs a low-carbon process combining hydrogen metallurgy and electric arc furnace (EAF) steelmaking to produce "green steel" with reduced carbon emissions; specifically, the wide-strip galvanizing line is designed to run on blast furnace gas.
In terms of cost reduction, efficiency improvement, and process optimization, Ma Steel has successfully reduced or eliminated molybdenum content in galvanized automotive sheets through targeted technical initiatives, thereby lowering alloying costs. The company also developed a third-generation, eco-friendly galvanized automotive outer panel featuring a low coefficient of friction, a product now used for the exterior panels of various vehicle models.
Regarding intelligent and automated operations, the production lines have advanced their intelligent capabilities by leveraging big data, the Internet of Things (IoT), and artificial intelligence to build a production management system, while also incorporating interfaces for future intelligent integration atop the foundational automation control systems.
